Shoot On Sight

#1 Postby damicatz » Fri Sep 02, 2005 7:11 am

Heard on the radio this morning that the National Guard/MP/Police are now shooting looters and other criminals on sight. With any luck, order might be restored to New Orleans soon.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/09/02/katrin ... index.html

"These are some of the 40,000 extra troops that I have demanded," Blanco said. "They have M-16s, and they're locked and loaded ... I have one message for these hoodlums: These troops know how to shoot and kill, and they are more than willing to do so if necessary, and I expect they will."

I would give them a 50/50 shot of surviving...it's not like there is any law enforcement on the ground.
