Almost 65 days into the season....

#1 Postby Guest » Mon Aug 04, 2003 1:29 pm

Can't believe how fast this season is flying by this year. Had the initial flurry of activity - now in a two week lull as I predicted. So we are over a quarter of the way through the season.

Happy Hurricane Hunting everyone !!!!

Today is the 65th day of the Hurricane Season.

Colin, remember, June and July are typically more tranquil than August and September and even early October. We have had an active June and July this year.

You know, I was thinking today (pretty rare for me :D ) we sound like a bunch of spoiled tropical brats. Here it is, the first few days of August, and we are already bored :o Most seasons we would not have had anything to be able to measure our boredom. Watching Claudette made us all feel like we were in the middle of the season and now it is like we are sad b/c its over :? I think we need to put this season through a reality check because we have yet to hit the heart of the season, so get your rest, and plan for many more sleepless nights!
