Even a minimal storm leaves long terms problems. This story is from the Corpus Christi paper

Those stories are so sad. My thoughts and prayers are with those people who are still suffering from Claudette. Its odd that the fan was mentioned because my daughter was just telling me on Sunday that she had spoken to a co-worker that was a hurricane Andrew survivor and she told my daughter that you never know how important fans are when you do not have any air conditioning. She said that if you are fortunate enough to own a generator that you could at least run floor fans and your frig. This is not anything I ever want to experience.
