Remember the Weather in their area when a notible tropical system made landfall?

ALll of the above with the following 2:

Agnes 1972-the whole week holed up, tons of rain, creeks around me out of their banks.

Gloria-don't remember the year, but remember driving the Roosevelt extension to work in the wind (this road is about 15 stories in the air)in my Chevette. Very very windy and a lot of rain.
