A little more west???

If you look at the latest radar images it seems to me it's moving just a hair north of west. Even our local met was saying the same thing. if it continues on this course the west coast could be more impacted then everyone is sayin!

yes denis (i dont know if u watch him) brings it into sarasota or a little farther south?

Isn't there a model that actually had it staying in the GOM for a few extra hours and then coming in.. That would strengthen it before it came onshore.. But.. my guess is still a landfall in extreme SW Fla around the Keys before shooting poleward...

I don't know but to me the longer it stays on this track the farther west the track would be

It wouldn't be unexpected, even the NHC track is right of most of the guidance. Still, it will make the turn northward soon enough and it could brush you just off to the east.

The BAMM had it out in the Gulf before coming in. However, the BAMM is virtually worthless except in the deep tropics. Go with the globals now.
