models coming into agreement of a South Florida hit - or will they change again.....Ernesto has me quite confused right now :roll:

Yes, but what will be left of Ernesto after passing over Cuba? These next 24 hours are huge in the life of this thing. A jump off the northern coast and then a track west-northwest to northwest is a lot differnt than a ride up the spine of Cuba and then up in to Florida. Still means a lot of rain coming, but hard to say what more than that can be expected.

Also- anyone been watching the GFS and other models showing a decent cyclone coming from Africa over the next week or so? Today's 18Z was unreal- a monster of a hurricane in 2 weeks if that panned out, which we won't even worry about right now, but still- there seem to be bigger fish to fry down the road.
