If so, the lack of SAL should really ramp up the African storm train.

yep we are in prime time now...I don't think Ernesto is going to survive, so I'll have my eyes on Africa now....

I thought the last wave with such a broad area was going to do something. It had fairly low pressure and looked good. Then, of course, it hit the ocean. I've kinda lost my faith in looking at any wave still over land. Even now at the height of the season, they're still poofing off shore.
