Sick feeling in the gut now..

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Sun Aug 27, 2006 5:59 am

I'm getting a sick feeling and becoming increasingly concerned about the Tampa Bay area.l

Even if it doesn't make landfall in Tampa, if it paralells the coast close enough on his way to Cedar Key, they could get a nasty storm surge and some really ugly weather.

I worry a bit what parts of downtown Tampa would look like if they get surge flooding.

I know it's only 5 days out, and a lots gonna change. But this doesn't look very promising..

and just think, 2 days ago when I was thinking west coast, I would have got lambasted for my logic

hurricanes are a fact of life in our part of the world, prepare and be ready and deal with it and you anxiety will be much lower. inverse relationship between amt of preperations and amount of anxiety.
