Shocked and Dismayed
I'm flabbergasted by a third year were a possible major hurricane might batter the Northern Gulf Coastal Region. I feel so sorry for all the people living their, my heart truly goes out to you all. This scenario repeating itself again and again and again just makes me sick. I usually enjoy tracking hurricanes, but I honestly take no pleasure in tracking "ERNESTO"; matter of fact I hate him and hope he goes poof (I know to much to hope for, but still that is how I feel). In closing please stay safe everyone, I'm pulling for you.

People just expressing concern, with the situation that Ernesto is going to get into the Gulf (unless it completely washes out on a Cuba or mexico hit). Speculation can be infuriating, but everyone here is truly concerned and most want to help everyone with information, don't want to see anyone caught unprepared is all.

People want to show their compassion as many know other people personally on this board.
Frankly, I think YOUR post fits all the descriptives you have used!

I don't even live there.... I'm here in southeast florida where we've only really felt cat 1 winds over the last couple years a few times but, I do know what it feels to see some distruction, loose money and feel a little like, "won't it just stop already."
I just have to say looking at that track graphic for you guys, WTF..
I know that things could and probably will change but, can't you guys catch a friggin break already.

Many of us have been IN the area and have been traumatized from prior storms.

I totally agree with Senobia. We don't know yet if this storm will be of any consequence, nor do they know where it's going. At this point to start the weeping and mourning for something that hasn't even transpired is ridiculous. Those of us who live in the coastal regions are well aware that this is hurricane season and that yes, any one of us could get a "big one". However, it is depressing to read these posts that make it sound like the body bags are stacked up and ready to go.

I understand you guys have been under a lot of stress but, absolutely no on in here is making it sound sound you how you are making them sound. They are just concerned and feel bad because it seems like the GULF COAST REGION can not cut a break.
We do not know the path basically past 72 hours but, it is disheartening for everyone to wake up and see the new forecast tracks and global models become a little more in unison.
Please do not bash the people who are just trying to show concern, cause after all they are not bashing anyone.

I'm from Chalmette La., my house is gutted, just sitting there. My self and so many others in Chalmette are waiting to see what this season brings. It seems like our biggest fears may be coming true. We do appreciate the concern that everyone has for us. Most people are trying to forget the nightmare that happened a year ago. The local news stations are doing a countdown of sorts to the anniversary date. I wish they would let it come and go without making us relive the nightmare. We live it everyday, all we have to do is look around.

Hybridstorm and others, thanks for the concern. I'm completely sick right now. Just sick. I really can't take it anymore. I don't consider the marking of a year since you know what an "anniversary" -- anniversaries in my opinion mark special, happy occasions, which this was decidedly not. I know it will take a few days for the path to be totally nailed down, but somebody will likely be hurt badly by this. If it is us we'll just have to deal with it, I guess. Nothing else we can do.
P.S. Ernesto -- please go poof!
