When will Florence form?

Now that we have Ernesto, we should take a shot in the dark on Florence.

My guess: August 31 out of the next wave off Africa.

I agree, Florence is the wave coming off Africa, probabaly won't form until mid week next week though.

I say Sept 10th as a sheared 40 knot tropical storm. No hurricanes intill mid Septemeber when one gets lucky in forms near the Azores. Then storms like Zeta,Vince form for the rest of the zone.

The depression of soon to be Florence will form on August 29th, 2006 at 11:00 am EST. It will be from the new wave from Africa that is coming off.

There's no such thing as a stupid question here, really. Besides, these are just guesses for the sake of fun. To get back on topic, I agree with Cyclenall on the origin of Florence, but not the exact time or date.
