in terms of track I think a Rita #2 would be the most likely of the 3.

The answer: storm comparison is misleading and intellectually bankrupt.

In ten years of various chatroom/board posts I've never seen a storm end up anything like the one it was compared to.

Amen. Of course, that doesn't prevent threads like these popping up ad nauseum.

pretty much I think he meant it more like this:

Rita 2 = western gulf threat

Katrina 2 = central gulf threat

charley 2 = eastern gulf threat
