NWS-some web function down

#1 Postby hiflyer » Thu Aug 24, 2006 7:58 pm

Just a heads up...there is a problem with some NWS sites...the NHC is fine but other NWS sites are either not answering or very slow. One side effect is those using GRLevel3 Radar are not getting updates if they are taking service from NWS and not AlisonHouse.

Yeah, I've had trouble accessing some NWS sites tonight. It seems to be okay now though.

Intellicast is another good source for radar.

NWS appeared to be somewhat back last night by 10p eastern...and fully back by midnight. Thank goodness it didn't take the NHC or SSD servers or this board would have gone completely nuts....grin!!
