Looks like something brewing the way this board is lighting up. What's the record for posters on line.

Many, many, many more than are on now. Over 400 at one time during Katrina, if I recall correctly.

There's 281 on right now for something that hasn't developed yet. That 434 record is going down easily if we get a major hurricane close to the U.S.

I think that there will be 600-700 OR MORE when there is a real threat to the U.S..

Hope the server can handle it.

I remember last year they took some features out like Spelchek and the such to get the server moving along.

I think we WILL have to keep "on topic" big time and not quote too much to keep this thing going during "crunch time".

Wow over 250 while we are chasing an Invest.

Ditto on the offline status the day before Katrina hit. And I'd bet that ironic twist often applies to any of us who find ourselves close to or directly in harm's way with an approaching storm. After all the online tracking, discussing, and round-the-clock watching of these buggers, you suddenly have absolutely no time whatsoever to be near a computer because you're prepping the house and yard, stocking up on last minute supplies, checking in on neighbors, taking in evacuating friends and relatives (or evacuating yourself, God forbid), and watching the local media for pertinent info.

C'est un ouragan.

Yeah, once the x is on your back, tracking it seems pretty redundant!
