This thread is for the members to discuss all about what the data from recon is sending.Any questions about the data will be answered here.We do this to let the data flow without interruptions in the recon reports thread.

The plane is flying now towards 91L.Let's wait soon for the first readings as it closes in.StormsAhead,they departed before 1 PM. :)

I have little doubt they will find TS strength winds, the real question here will be about the circulation and if it exists, which I (personally) believe it does, based on the persistence of it throughout these conditions the past few days.

I hear ya....hurricane season only happens one time a year . We NEED something to track.

Finding fairly healthy flight-level winds now... many readings above 25KT and 30KT in a row.

I don't think you see much from the discussion. I think they will issue a STDS or special advisory if they find a TD or TS.

I think when all is said and done, they will find a weak MLC/LLC. Synoptic data supports some sort of existing MLC or LLC, although it is likely weak.

Well, actually, they are heading to the SW corner first. I do believe that in most situations they would head straight for the center, but it seems like they are heading down a western leg of the pattern.

All the seem finding so far are E to SE winds.
