Wave in Eastern Caribbean

anyone noticed this wave?

Shower activity is increasing and shear is relativly low. I think we should watch this wave two.

Hopefully it will not be a big problem for us here in terms of rainfall.Although there is a small craft advisory in effect because of choppy seas caused by strong winds that are in the surge of this wave.

wow, this sort of poped up out of nowhere and it does look interesting. I guess we should definately keep an eye on it.

It's been mentioned in the discussions for several days now, but until today had hardly any convection.

WEATHER SUMMARY FOR PUERTO RICO
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN JUAN PR
400 PM AST FRI JUL 28 2006

VARIABLY CLOUDY SKIES WERE OBSERVED ACROSS PUERTO RICO...OVER
CULEBRA AND VIEQUES DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS. ISOLATED SHOWERS
WERE OBSERVED ACROSS THE EASTER SECTIONS OF THE ISLAND. WINDS WERE
FROM THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.

THIS WAVE WAVE WILL MOVE INTO THE LOCAL AREA THIS EVENING THROUGH
SATURDAY MORNING. EXPECT A SIGNIFICANT SURGE IN THE TRADE
WINDS...WITH SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SQUALLS AND THUNDERSTORMS. DEEPER
MORE ABUNDANT MOISTURE BEHIND THIS TROPICAL WAVE WILL AFFECT THE
LOCAL AREA SATURDAY POSSIBLY LINGERING UNTIL SUNDAY.

WINDS AND SEAS WILL INCREASE AGAIN BEGINNING THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...AHEAD OF THE TROPICAL WAVE...AND FOR THAT REASON...SMALL
CRAFT ADVISORIES ARE IN EFFECT FOR ALL LOCAL WATERS...EXCEPT FOR THE
WESTERN COASTAL WATERS OF PUERTO RICO.

Everytime this year we stated a system looked good and poof gone the next day. Why? My guess is the tutt and ULL's.
