Thanks for that.... I am very happy to see him on the news. He kind of said what I have been feeling about how the media can help urge people to be prepared for every upcoming hurricane season. He also stated that no one can know exactly where and when another storm will strike. Very encouraging to see him and I hope that we see a lot more coverage on getting prepared for the upcoming season. EMPHASIZING PREPARED!!!

There is no way anyone or government agency can be prepared for a Katrina like storm. Can any of us be prepared for another Andrew? All you can do is get out of the way and then come home to pick up the pieces......MGC

Thats true, no one can truely prepare for a major storm like katrina or andrew, but people need to be smart enough to evacuate when theyre told to. The government or whoever issues evacuations doesnt do it just beause they can or ecause they have nothing better to do...but to warn people to get out of the way of danger...most of katrina's deaths were froom people who refused to evacuate

Or couldn't  the politics played out before and after this storm hit are going to be discussed and debated for a long time.
