BOC Action?

Nogaps is showing a closed low forming in the BOC in the next few days...it may bear watching...;)

Well, in the same timeframe as it shows that surface low developing, it shows 30+ knots of 850-200mb zonal shear, so I'd say that doesn't look too promising.

Way to far out. It could happen (like the system East of the Bahamas), but I will not be putting any bets down if you know what I mean.

That would be perfect. A tropical low that is being sheared to come dump some rain over here for a day or two. My Grass is drying.

If I had a nickel for threads with "possible development" or "convection" in them the past months I'd be a rich man.

NOGAPS has constantly spun up spurious vortices this winter and spring, so I don't see anything forthcoming. Even if it does somehow verify, land interaction won't allow anything to develop.
