2005 Loses its Ace record to a split over 2005/2006 Zeta.

By this page no ACE record. They say 2005 had 239 ace. In they split the Zeta.

Techincality - that is the year 2005's ACE, not the ACE for the 2005 hurricane season. I think that is what makes the difference.

WindRunner is correct. The 2005 season officially holds the record for highest ACE.
