Best Wishes and Happy New Year 2006

#1 Postby cycloneye » Tue Dec 27, 2005 1:49 pm

I know that 2005 was a bad year for many that were affected by Cindy,Dennis,Katrina,Ophelia,Rita and Wilma at the US and the other systems that affected other areas of the Atlantic Basin such as CentralAmerica with Stan. However let's hope very much that 2006 will be better to those people that were affected and nothing similar as what occured in 2005 will repeat again.

I have to thank the pro mets who haved colaborated this year with the analysis and discussions before, during and after the 2005 hurricane season which were very informative and educational.

I also thank the members who were A+ all this year discussing and debating sometimes hot themes and hot debates but in general they were very good.

And of course the administrators and the moderators who mantained this Talking Tropics forum running smoothly all year long.

Happy New Year to everyone.!! :)

As we ring in the new year, it will also officially make our upset victory over the West Pac official. What an accomplishment! 8-)

Yes, it has been an enjoyable year here on this forum. I'd venture to say that I'll be coming back to S2K for the rest of my life. For a while there, yall were my only source of information during Katrina. Thanks for that. And, believe it or not, I'm looking forward to tracking many more storms with all of you... even after Katrina. But, lets make 'em all fish, shall we? Happy New Year everyone.

Thank you for those words and I can assure you that Storm2k right now it's the best weather site of the net in 2006 will be even better than what it is now. :)

Happy New Year to you and to all.

Where most likely get 30 named storms. In with alot more Cape verdes like 1995. I also think some one is going to get a cat5 this year. Don't know who but I got a gut feeling.

I say only 20 but who knows.
