Really though, I was awoken in the night too. Could hear the wind chimes going nuts. Some of the gusts were very strong indeed. It is still very windy this morning, but not a cloud in the sky, that beautiful blue ahhhhhhhh, its great. :D

Yeah... we had some pretty bad gusts up here last night around 7-8pm... power went out for over an hour and a half.

One of the squalls was amazing here, almost lost a tree which survived Frances and Charley (about 20mi east of Tampa)

Wow, we saw some really strong gusts here in Brandon last night. The house next to us had part of a tree fall on top of it. We had a big branch fall down in our back yard (from a tree that was dead because it was struck by lightning a few months ago). Lots of stuff blown around. Exciting! Convinces me that my parents definitely need to have their roof re-shingled by next hurricane season, but my dad still protests. Arghh..

Wow! can you share what it was as we had nothing in Charlotte County? It was so calm here.
