Lake Okeechobee's affect on Wilma

I was thnking about being on the south side of the storm with the possible projected path taking it across Lake Okeechobee. I wonder if the storm will get any extra help from the lake? You have to think that with the the storm moving SW to NE across the lake that Palm Beach, Broward and North Dade are going to get blasted. Something to ponder.... :roll:

The local water district will close all the links here to the lake early tomorrow. Almost no water from the N will flow there that should help to lake level.
