It is very rainy here in south florida....is this related to the tropical wave in the bahamas or just bad luck?? :raincloud:

there is a lot of fanning of the clouds....does that indicate shear or organization?

Yes ut us a desert here in tampa and in reference to Boca Chris's post in another thread for whatever reason we on the very Western part of Pinellas do miss out on alot of rain. Perhaps a Met could explain why that is.

Going to have to say, that's incorrect. It's rained off and on all night here in Miami, and has rained most of the morning. I never slept, so I can say that for sure. Also, our local mets were showing rain all over the area.

It has been of and on rain here since yesterday morning. Ground is pretty wet here. I guess there is alot more to come too. Back yard will flood I am sure, more than a few days of rain and the back yard starts to make a little pond.

yes it rained on and off with quick moving showers but I don't think we want people from outside the area to think that it rained non-stop. Hasn;t let upo means a non-stop training situation which it wasn't. Considering we are in for a few days of heavy rain we should be glad it was a purely on and off. Just want people to have the facts correct.

good grief, man. no need to correct people's perceptions of how much it did or didnt rain!!!!!

if we want facts about rainfall amounts, we'll go to NWS.

chill!
