Rita Inland Forecast = Major Bust
So what the heck happened with the Rita inland forecast?? It's like she deliberately did the opposite of what was predicted and raced out of the TX-LA-AR area as quickly as possible. These storms are so unpredictable - very humbling.

Hmmm. Maybe the models had the right ideas but poor timing regarding a rebuilding ridge...I notice that the extended forecasts for our area are now beginning to trend away from the cool temperatures that we're hoping for toward the end of the week. The 50's lows and upper 70's highs called for yesterday are now mid-to-upper 60's and mid-to-upper 80's.
