Gulf of Mexico Wind Shear

The upper level wind shear is lessening a bit in the central and more so eastern Gulf of Mexico, along with the very warm water temperatures something may form in the not so distance future.

Barometric pressure off the extreme southern Texas coast was near 1010 millibars, 29.83 inches late last night.

As of late this morning... the west Gulf had wind shear in the 20 to 50 knot range, while the central and especially eastern Gulf of Mexico was had 20 knots and below and decreasing.

...and the possible developing system, which is currently over an area of decreasing shear is currently expected to move WNW and/or NW toward this low and decreasing area of shear.
