When can we expect airial photos?

#1 Postby gunner1551 » Mon Aug 29, 2005 11:49 am

When do they send out the planes that take the video and photos of the extreme damage that they will find?? 1 or 2 days later? Or can they send them out soon in order to find people that will be trapped on roofs and inside buildings that have collapsed??

Generally the planes and helicopters are in the air as soon as winds have died down enough for them to fly safely.

One of the emergency officials said once the winds drop below 40 mph... they can send out rescue helicopters so I would presume the media would do the same. Might get some pictures before sunset...
