0650 GMT on 08/29/2005:
Wind Direction (WDIR): ESE ( 110 deg true )
Wind Speed (WSPD): 46.6 kts
Wind Gust (GST): 62.2 kts
Wave Height (WVHT): 37.1 ft

42039 reported a wave height of 26.2 feet at 0700z (3 AM EDT, about an hour ago). :eek:

That Bouy just reported 45.9 feet! (last figure)

yes 45.9 foot waves... did you look at the location?

Distance between 29 11' 3"N 88 12'48"W and 28 48' 0"N 89 36' 0"W is
88.0021 statute miles

I think there are larger waves yet :eek:

Wonder where these 65 foot waves Drudge was talking about went?
Maybe the question is were there ever 65 foot waves?
