Southeast, Texas safe?

#1 Postby Johnny » Sat Aug 27, 2005 4:54 pm

Are we pretty much in the clear here in Southeast, Texas? I'm supposed to be going out of town this Monday but I won't if Katrina heads this way. Thanks.

yes...now that we are this close to landfall and the models are in tight agreement so far from texas, it can be considered safe.

<-- marks djtil's words so when Kat hits the border, I can ask why they thought Texas was safe....

but since you know Texas is safe, florida panhandle is safe to?

cheers,
