Western Atlantic Tropical Summary - WATS UP on August 24, 2005

<img src="http://www.diamondheadweather.com/wats20050824.jpg">

We still have two halves in the frame. In the east, our little guy is keeping things quiet.

In the west, we have TS Katrina (see the GUTS IN for today for my forecast on Katrina) and a wave moving through the Caribbean
with a slight increase in convection. I do not expect this wave to develop in the next 24-48 hours as it moves westward.
