Typhoon Tip
This storm absoulty amazed me. This storm out did every other storm on earth. I think it had 190mph winds with 220mph gusts. I don't know that much about this storm but if anyone else has some info that would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the JTWC site at http://metoc.npmoc.navy.mil/jtwc.html and go to the ATCR archive and call up the Annual Tropical Cyclone Report for 1979 and read the narrative on STY Tip.
