There seems to be WAY too much convection in the W Carib
to not warrent some attention...

looking at the loop... it looks like there are strong westerlies
but when i look at the wind shear forcast for the area... looks
pretty favorable...

I think that forecast is underplaying the shear in that region - there's a strong upper-level trough dominating the Gulf, and that's shearing the NW Caribbean as well.

The Tutt is way to strong across the Caribbean. Forget development for at least 2 weeks.
