True WNW to NW wobbles

#1 Postby gk1 » Sun Jul 17, 2005 12:41 pm

The last several hours, Emily has wobbled wnw to nw. These wobbles will be critical to the Cozumel area during the next several hours.

she's right on nhc track, look at the overall motion not frame by frame wobble...

I dont think the poster was saying she was deviating in any extreme way from the NHC track.....but "frame by frame wobbles" begin to mean a lot when a storm is close to landfall because they determine who will get the full brunt of the eye....

Wobbles make a difference now while she is approaching landfall. Just ask Floridians.

If the pattern of the last 14 hours continues we should see another slight wobble west again... :?:

Its hard for me to believe itll jog west again....it would have to push the ULL westward and its not moving much.
