At this pace, we'll run out of names

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I remember people saying the same thing last year about running out of names and people said no way it would happen!

However.... we are in early July and could possibly be up to "E" in the next week.

Sure hope we don't get to Vince..... not a good one!
Wilma on the other hand shouldn't be bad

I guess we'd have to add Zeus or something. Maybe we can go back and fill in the lettters Q,U,X,Y,Z any suggestions?

The scary thing is, the global models (ECMWF, UKMET, GFS, CMC) are bullish on the wave behind TD5 and develope it into a tropical cyclone. If it does develope, we'd have Franklin within a week. Scary, scary, scary...

After Wilma, we could have, in the order:

Q - Quentin (must be male)
U - Ursula
X - (can't think of anything besides Xavier, which is EPAC)
Y - Yelda
Z - Zachary

I doubt we'd get to Wilma, eventually im sure there will be some type of pattern change....a Trough will come down from the North or something and shut things down

I actually know that....I was just playing with someone's idea to go back to the other letters.

I wonder what would happen if we somehow got to that auxiliary list and there was a devastating storm on that list. Like, for instance, a bad Hurricane Beta hits somewhere. Would it just be gone or what would happen to that name?

Not that I hope that happens though. Just curious.

Wow! A 4-1 run for the Atlantic now! This is the first time all season we have led. Five storms already! Are you sure it's only July 10?! :P

How about....

Arnie
Brittany
Cid (can't think of anything else LOL)
Denise
Emil

To start another little list here, kinda the gender equivalent to each name, if you know what I mean.
