I thought the same thing when we were watching the bottom drop out of the pressure today at work...we all thought it was nuts...so that's kinda insane :-)

I wish I was there watching the mets at the NHC while that was going on this afternoon. I bet you they were probably gaping at the recon vortex returns as much as we were.

Just noticed Stewart doing the late night/early morning lately. But I think you are right, he did afternoon today. Maybe Beven will stay on late tonight. I'm sure they are all there tho...I doubt theres much "off duty" now.

Agree - this is history being made, and will be catastropic, so they are all probably bunking there.

is Dennis making cat 5 status outside the realm of possibility or is the general consensus cat 4. With the structure such as it is, warm waters, etc. what is the upper potential of this monster before it makes landfall
