As long as the power permits, I would be interested about any weather conditions going on.

We've still got wind here of at least 18, gusting to in the 30s. We have some palm fronds down, but that's about it here in my neighborhood. Been raining off and on since yesterday.

Tops of trees slightly wavering in a breeze, grey sky, very light drizzle.

It has mostly been like that all day... with the occasional strong and very quick moving squall.

Less rain than expected-at least in our immediate area. All around us, radar indicates rainbands, Occasion squalls with gusty wind (36 mph) that knocks out the electricity briefly-just enough to have to reset the computers, etc. So far, so good. Hope this is the worse we get. He should be directly offshore about now so we would be out of the NE quadrant..

We are under a tornado watch until 11 pm.

I am thinking of all of you in harms way with much sympathy and hoping that he doesn't strengthen. Stay safe and hopefully many of you won't read this for while because you have evacuated!

Lynn

Edit: make that 48 mph gusts as of 3:30

So far, still sunny just north of Orlando. I keep checking the regional; should pick up a little by this evening.

Over here on the Atlantic in Cape Canaveral, the high cloud cover has kept the temperature under 90 for the first day this week. We've had no rain and some nice strong sea breezes, so it's been a little more bearable than recent days.

We really expected worse weather by now, after listening to what Miami/FLL got, but we lucked out. In fact, I just got back from a birthday/pool party and everyone was amazed that we hadn't had to cancel it.

We are still under a tornado watch for 30 more minutes and a high wind advisory until 8 pm EDT, but so far so good.

Hoping the best for our friends and neighbors in the Panhandle.

Clay County Florida:
Light rainbands so far. Nice hot day otherwise.

Under a flood watch till 8PM Sunday. Biggest cause of concern for most of the state (outside of the panhandle) is going to be flooding. We have had way too much rain past few weeks. Still nowhere near dry.
