confusing to me

The probabilities still show Tampa as a 23% chance within 65 miles of the Dennis. I think it is more like 2-3%. That number can really make pl nervous. Does anyone know how these numbers are generated?

The percentage just shows the chance that the storm will pass within 65 miles of Tampa. That doesn't show the chance it will HIT Tampa. :wink:

look at it this way its 77% chance it wont come within 65 miles of Tampa.

I wrote within 65 miles, it just seems VERY high at this point in my opinion.
