I've got family stationed in Europe right now (they live in Lower Alabama)
and I was just sent this by my Uncle:

The EUCOM forcaster looked at it & looked at the currents & pressures
zones & predicted a west of NOLA landfall. Don't think Pensacola could handle another cat 2...hundreds of folks still living in FEMA trailers.

Whoops, EUCOM is a military acronym for European Command.

very interesting...im sure someone is going to say...oh, he is siding with his model....but, thank you for that...

He's an American Military Meteorlogist stationed in Europe, so he's actually going against the US models and siding with the UK models!

It has been, and I am concerned it will be close to that track.

I do not want to be near a major making landfall, but I don't get to
control that.
