Will ridge rebuild after Cindy moves?

#1 Postby MGC » Thu Jul 07, 2005 12:50 pm

That is my big question. Cindy has left a trough in her wake and I believe this is what is causing the Bermuda ridge to weaken slightly. As Cindy moves futher away from the ridge will the ridge build more to the west?.....MGC

If Dennis becomes more powerfull and starts "Creating his own environment" as major hurricanes often do, will it inhibit the Ridge from building back?

Actually, the outflow from major hurricanes can actually build the periphery of a ridge as they pump more air into the high pressure system.
