Eastern Cuba? It is lifting northward and has gotten my attention this evening.

Got to this site and click on the right side GOES EAST (Vis and IR Floater shown graphically over the Northwest Carib and Eastern GOM.

Yeah, I see it a little bit. But it's has little convection and is moving over Eastern Cuba now.

It came about from the Convection complex down there earlier today. It does seem to have convection to it's north and we will have to see what it does once it gets north of Cuber tomorrow. It would be in a better UL Enviro. IMO for TC development than the current area east of Florida. It also wouldn't be the first time that models jumped on developing a surface low to far north with a ULL in the vicinity.

Looks to me to have a rige aloft, look east of the center and you see UL winds moving SE and with it's movement to the north it also lessens the impact of the UL winds that are moving northward.
