Help Needed to Identify some Weather Pictures

#1 Postby HURAKAN » Wed Jun 01, 2005 1:45 pm

I received an e-mail from Lesley Rowland, meteorologist working
for the BoM in Australia. She asked me to identify, if I was able, of course, some pictures that they received from weather enthusiasts but they didn't indicate specificaly from where the pictures came, just that they were from Bunbury Western Australia.

This is the actual e-mail:
"I have attached some photos that are doing the rounds here in Australia. The senders (and there have been many) claim they are from Bunbury Western Australia. Naturally, we thought, we would have seen something on the news. Are you able to identify them and their location? We have some people in our Public Relations Office interested. In the event any are from our shores they would receive consideration for the BOM calendar. We rather reluctantly feel they aren't. They are great shots never the less."

I need your help to identify these pictures. They are great, except for the first one that seems a little fake to me.

Well, these are the pictures, great pictures. If you feel or know they are kind of fake, please be free to say it.

Thanks,

Yeah it appears you linked us to images that are still in your email.

We don't have access. Host them on an image host like Imagebucket.
