upper ridges
Does a high pressure upper ridge not a surface ridge deflect a hurricane in a different direction just curious?Ex an upper ridge over Luisiana and Mississippi would push the hurricane into S texas North Mexico.

Here is a good link that tells what the steering is at each level of the atmosphere and tells you which level you go by based on the strength in pressure (MB) of the storm or cane.
