Developing Caribbean storm may be nightmare for Hispaniola
This is the last thing these folks, especially those in Haiti, need right now. Most models I have seen take or develop the storm near the island. The slower it moves, the greater the chances of a 3rd major catastrophe this year. Remember, it doesn't even take a tropical storm to unleash torrential rains here. Add to that the fact that much of the island's trees have been harvested, and you have an impending disaster. Let's hope it doesn't congeal or organize the way the model's are predicting right now.
