Stormsfury a question

#1 Postby cycloneye » Sat May 03, 2003 6:04 pm

I have to ask you because you have many records in the archieves anyway the question is how many systems formed at the EPAC and in the atlantic in the past 30 years to see if when there is more number of systems in the EPAC there is less atlantic activity or viceversa or is the same activity for both basins.

Interesting to note than since 1995 when we witnessed the multi-decadal change in Atlantic activity, the EPAC has only had more storms twice in the 8 years than the Atlantic.

Yes Derek interesting fact about the more activity in the past years in the atlantic basin than at the EPAC.Will this 2003 season we will see more activity in the atlantic than in the pacific? I think that we will have to wait and see which of the basins will be more busy.
