Interesting little system has developed in the E. Gulf this morning.
A wavy area of lower pressure (UL disturbance) has developed from the trailing trough left behind by Matthew. In the past, we have seen potential with these features to develop tropical characteristics, so I'll be watching this feature as it moves over Florida and into the Atlantic over the next couple of days.
In the meantime, we'll be dealing with a soaker today...
