...Outer rainbands of Nicole affecting Bermuda...
a tropical storm watch is in effect for Bermuda.
At 11 am EDT...1500z...the center of subtropical storm Nicole was
located near latitude 32.2 north...longitude 66.8 west or about
115 miles... 190 km...west of Bermuda.
The storm is moving toward the north-northwest near 14 mph
...22 km/hr...and a gradual turn to the north is expected later
today.
Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph... 75 km/hr...with higher
gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 24
hours.
Winds of 40 mph extend outward up to 200 miles...325 km
from the center.
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1002 mb...29.59 inches.
Repeating the 11 am EDT position...32.2 N... 66.8 W. Movement
toward...north-northwest near 14 mph. Maximum sustained
winds... 45 mph. Minimum central pressure...1002 mb.
