Jeanne--what's going on?

looks like it's going CLOCKWISE rather than counterclockwise.
is it dying? supposed to be on plane to Northern Bahamas tomorrow?

Actually, storms in the northern hemisphere spin counterclockwise so Jeanne cannot do that.

Good luck with your bahamas trip. Even if Jeanne turns into only a tropical wave, it will still contain alot of nasty weather, lots of rain and wind, which will be visiting the bahamas in a few days.

yes ... "in small area to north of center" ...

She did still appear to have a LLC at 8, but I've lost sight of it since then. I'm not saying she's definitely opened up, but clearly the interaction with the island is finally taking its toll.

If she has lost her LLC, I'm thinking she might manage to form a new one a little to the NE, closer to her main area of convection and over water.
