Unbelievable, I wake up this morning to find Jeanne's track forecast for Florida. It's almost too much to bear. Jeanne's best chance for us is if she breaks up over Hispanola. But, even now she is pulling away. I'm going to be praying that Jeanne dissapates very soon. Otherwise the CONUS could be facing yet another hurricane landfall. Even if the ridge breaks down and Jeanne passes Florida to our east, she will still affect another state and that is too much.
God Bless, Marie

Jeanne could indeed be breaking up. Convection is on the wane and shear is affecting her from the west. How they kept her at 60 at 8 am is beyond me. I personally feel that she will survive IF she get moving WNW (Which she is NOT doing in spite of the 8am advisory), but dissipation is definitely a possibility.
