Amazing Jeanne.................

#1 Postby bobbisboy » Thu Sep 16, 2004 7:46 pm

Is anyone else migthily impressed by Jeanne who even as she is partially tangled in the DR was able to pop an eye earlier today and is doing so again right now ?? I'm no expert, but I think given this storms propensity to want to deepen under less than ideal circumstances, that when Jeanne clears the coast she may end up being more than a category 2 storm. Time will tell but she looks awfully good after a day of the DR. Those who posted earlier about her demise are WAY off base.

Yes, I would say she is a fightter but it's not even like she is having to fight. She has a mighty impressive amount of moisture that is trailing along with her.

Yup! And true to my word, three days from now, as the storm creeps towards the U.S. coast, I'm going to ressurect a Mr. Somebody's "Jeanne is a goner, forget it, it's over, everyone else is wrong" posts. ;)
