Ivan has plenty of time and room

to get down under 930mb again...not saying he's going to, just that he's a good 12-15 hours from landfall, very little shear is evident, and water temps (though the thermocline is closer to the surface to his north) are running around 83-84f
we'll see, we'll see
the next vortex data message will be very interesting...I expect on the order of another 3mb drop, winds will take a little time to respond to the lowering pressures

unfortunately...if this does turn out to be a rapid intesnification cycle...it will probabaly be peaking near landfall.
