is Buoy 42040, located 64 nm south of Dauphin Island. Below is the link, updated regularly while and if it remains operable.

Already reporting 42kt sustained winds and 32 ft. wave heights as of 9:50 am CDT.

Check out the graphic on wind, wind gusts, and barometric pressure. WOW! Goes to show when things go downhill in a TS/Hurricane they go down quickly!
