Ivan's History

#1 Postby Ixolib » Wed Sep 15, 2004 10:16 am

Except for Granada, Ivan has been forecast to take a more northly track as it approached every landmass, i.e., Jamacia, Caymans, and Cuba. Then, just as it approached land, it jogged to the west. Is confidence high that this will not be the case this time around?

He may have been told that going over Jamaica and Cuba was not good for its health, especially its structure. Charley also missed Jamaica with a westward shift. In 2002, Lili also missed Jamaica by moving between Jamaica and Cuba.
